Clout was Grand Champion Bull at the Iowa and North Dakota State Fairs in 1999 and 2000 and was Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the 2001 National Western Stock Show in Denver. His mother was Supreme Champion Female of the Lowline breed at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1994. Clout’s natural muscling and superior doing ability made him the heaviest weaning weight bull among his contemporaries. At 43” mature height, he packs a lot of muscle on a very modest frame, weighing over 1350# . Admiral J222 has left his mark as one of the strongest maternal bulls in the breed with the highest marbling score of any of Brambletye’s senior herdsires. Clout may be the best representative of the Admiral J222 bloodline on two continents. Clout has proven to be an easy calving bull with excellent fertility - he has been a great semen producer and naturally bred 48 halfblood heifers in a 45 day calving window. |
